From red carpets, galas and weddings the backbone of Ashley Readings’ career has been elegant, timeless and contemporary updos. This April, Ashley will be sharing that knowledge in a full-day workshop put on by Cadre Artists Agency for on-set or behind-the-chair hair stylists looking to improve their updo repertoire and improve their finishing skills.

She’ll teach you how to decode any inspiration image, pull from historical references and find your style. Ashley will demo two updos and break them down into the five components that make up all updos. 

The actual process behind inspiration images, understanding how to point out the differences to clients and producers (ex. the many differences of the word ‘wave’) how to articulate what someone means / how to react in the moment 

You’ll go home with refined finishing skills, a better understanding of how to tackle any updo and Ashley’s favourite products and pins to add to your kit.
